It’s Not Your Moisturizer… It May Be This 💧

It may be deeper than just the surface. If your skin has been feeling dry no matter how much moisturizer you’re layering on….. you’re not alone. I was working this past Saturday and heard this so many times… and, I get it because I’ve experienced it too.

Sometimes it really is as simple as switching your moisturizer. But other times, your skin needs a little more help. When you have that buildup of dry, dull skin sitting on the surface, your products can’t actually penetrate and do what they’re supposed to do. That’s where treatments like microneedling or a gentle chemical peel come in—they help remove that barrier so your skincare can work properly. Skin boosters are a category of treatments that hydrate and improve skin quality over time, usually done in a series (my favorite is Redensity 1). Skinvive is a specific, FDA-approved treatment from the Juvederm family.

Skin boosters use hyaluronic acid (sometimes with added vitamins or regenerative ingredients) and are typically done across the full face and neck using a device. Skinvive uses a very smooth hyaluronic acid gel placed as tiny microdroplets under the skin, giving you really even hydration—usually in just one session, with results lasting around 6 months.
